Ms. Catherine Wrisley - Director of Federal Programs and Special Projects

Catherine Wrisley will serve as Director of Federal Programs and Special Projects effective July 1, 2021. Prior to joining HSD, Wrisley served as the School Improvement Specialist & Founding School Administrator at Topeka Public Schools. Wrisley has more than 11 years of education experience, including roles as an academic instructional coach, teacher, and high school assistant principal. Wrisley earned a bachelor’s degree in international affairs and history from George Washington University. Additionally, she holds a master’s degree in secondary education and a master’s degree in educational administration, both from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
