Dear Jamestown Elementary School Families,

Good morning. Due to a power outage caused by a transformer failure, Jamestown Elementary School is preparing alternative plans for today, Monday, November 18th. Parents have the option of picking up their child or students can stay at Jamestown. For those students who have opted to stay at Jamestown, supervision will be given, emergency lighting is being setup, and meals will be provided.

We do apologize for the unfortunate timing of this notice, however this incident occurred while bus routes were running. Ameren crews are working to rectify this situation. We are being told that the outage could take upwards of four hours to correct. We thank you for your patience as we navigate this situation.
