David McCorkle was a technology consultant for HSD from 1993-2016.  In July of 2016, Mr. McCorkle was hired as the Chief Information Officer for the Hazelwood School District. During his time at HSD, he has been instrumental in the design, implementation, and management of the Network and Server Infrastructure, application development, system automation, and the 1:1 Chromebook initiative for all students PK-12.  He has also been instrumental in creating a merit based career path for the Technology Department based on experience and IT certifications allowing employees to progress based on performance.
