  • Meal Delivery for Hazelwood School District Students

    UPDATE – April 15, 2020

    1. Buses will be running centralized bus routes delivering meals at locations district-wide as listed below on Mondays only through the end of the school year. However, there will be no delivery on Memorial Day (May 25th) and meals for that week will be delivered on Tuesday, May 26th.

    2. Any student who comes to a location will receive the meals. A parent may pick up for a student.  If you are driving, PLEASE remain in your vehicle and meals will be brought to the vehicle (if you have a trunk, please open it and meals will be placed in the trunk).  If you walk to the delivery, we ask that only one person per family (or per daycare) come to the bus and maintain social distancing of six (6) feet while waiting in line.  Walkers will be served first to limit contact.  While corridors are listed in the schedule, a student may get a meal from any stop listed.

    3. Meals will consist of:

Five (5) lunches and five (5) breakfasts

These meals will be “grab-and-go” type meals (for example – sandwiches, Lunchables, fruit juice, cereal, etc).  If milk is provided, please drink immediately or refrigerate until consumed.
    1. School buildings will NOT be open.

    2. If any guidance from local, state, or national authorities impact this process, the district will utilize its communications channels to update the community

    3. HSD Security personnel will ride each bus.
