Cori Cloyd has served a total of 18 years as an educator. His journey as an educator started in Mississippi, where he taught Physical Education and coached basketball and track & field for 4 years. In his years upon returning home to St. Louis he has taught at KIPP Inspire and Southeast Middle School. In 2015, he was the founding Dean of Students at KIPP Triumph Academy. At KTA he stayed in the Dean role for 3 years before moving into an Assistant School Leader role. In 2022, he will return to Hazelwood as an Assistant Principal.

He earned Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Thee Jackson State University in Health, Physical Education and Recreation. He completed his second Masters in Educational Administration and Leadership in December 2019 from Lindenwood University.
