Hello parents and students:

I am very excited about the opportunity to support the students, parents, and staff here at Hazelwood East High School.

I know that keeping track of credits, scheduling classes, reading transcripts, community service hours, graduation, the ACT/SAT Test, college tours, scholarships, and financial aid, are all daunting tasks for any family. I am here to serve you with your curriculum, online virtual classes, individual planning, and social & emotional needs throughout the school year. I have experience in these areas, and I am very eager to support our students and families.

During the past twelve years, I have been working with students and parents providing guidance and counseling services to help students improve academically, and to develop career and social goals.  For four years, I worked at Hazelwood Central High School as a College & Career and Counselor. I previously worked in Riverview Gardens as a middle school counselor for three years, and two years in the Saint Louis Public School as an elementary counselor.  I also worked as a Job Specialist with at-risk high school students to assist with enrollment for post-secondary education/trade school, job readiness skills, resume writing, career development, job attainment, leadership and self-development, college applications, FAFSA, and ACT Preparation.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.  I have a Master of Arts in School Counseling from Lindenwood University. I am dedicated to all my students and working to help them succeed and become productive citizens for the future.
