Welcome to my website!

Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a native St. Louisan who grew up in North County many years ago. I have taught high school business and marketing courses for 14 years, having taught at 3 different public schools in the area. I obtained a Masters in Administration with an emphasis in Marketing in 2003. I have taught many different courses in my career. Here is a list of courses in which I have experience teaching: Marketing, Management, Computer Applications, Accounting, Business Law, and Entrepreneurship.

I feel that business courses prepare students for their next step after high school, whether that be going on to college or entering the workforce. The practical skills they learn are vital to becoming an educated consumer and financially responsible adult. The lessons the students learn will benefit them in so many ways and last a lifetime. 

I am also the head softball coach and assistant baseball coach here at East High. My main interests are sports and music. I enjoy most sports and I love all kinds of music. I am also a licensed Realtor and have spent many years working in business. My work experiences give me many real-life lessons to draw from in my teaching.

I hope to inspire students to become whatever it is they would like to be. But at the very least, I know they will leave my class with skills that will surely help them in the future.
