I believe school is a place where every child should feel safe, challenged, and excited about learning. Each student is unique and special and should be taught as such. An important part of my teaching is differentiation, where every child receives the instruction and support that is right for them. Building strong relationships with students is a vital part of my classroom.
Personal Statement
I have been teaching at Jamestown Elementary since 2011 and have taught kindergarten, first, and second grades. I love seeing the growth and excitement for learning that happens at this age! In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching St. Louis baseball and hockey, movies, and spending time with my family and friends.
