I believe that students deserve to learn in a safe, fair, and comfortable environment where they can be fully engaged in the learning process. As an educator, I will provide active learning opportunities and differentiate my instruction to meet the needs of each child in my classroom. I believe in having high expectations for my students, as well as for myself. I believe in building positive relationships with students and families, and I want my students to develop a love for school that will motivate them to become life-long learners.
Personal Statement
I have been teaching in the Hazelwood School District since 2001, and have taught kindergarten second, and third grade. In my spare time, I enjoy reading mystery novels and volunteering at a local animal shelter.
