Mrs. Stacy Hershenow
My teaching career began in the Kansas City area in 1991 and continued in California after moving to Palm Desert in 1993. After our 2nd child was born, I took a parental leave from teaching, which extended to almost 20 years. We moved to St. Louis in 2004 with our then 4 young children. After our youngest entered high school, I am excited to be back teaching full time in my 2nd year at Hazelwood North Middle School!
I teach 7th and 8th Grade FACS and 6th Grade Introduction to Computers. As an elective teacher, I have a different set of classes on alternating A and B days. My goal is to engage students in learning life skills that are relevant. I welcome and encourage parental input!
When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my husband, Stan, and our family...including 2 dogs and a cat. We love to travel to new places and visit our extended families out of state. At home, I enjoy cooking, doing projects and spending time outdoors in the yard or walking nearby trails. I also stay busy supporting our kids in all their activities.
