Teacher Message:

Hello and welcome to 6th Grade Social Studies! My name is Mr. Lovellette and I teach 6th Grade World History. My goal in this class is to help students see the whole world around them and discover what they want their place to be in that world. This is my 4th year teaching at Southeast Middle School and my 3rd year teaching 6th Grade. I am so excited to get to meet everyone and start the school year!

Biography:

I was born in St. Louis and grew up in eastern Iowa. I went to college at the University of Evansville for History and received a Master's degree in East Asian Studies from Washington University In St. Louis. I lived for two years in China and taught English there. I have been married to my wife for 10 years, I have three cats and love hiking, camping, video games and running.
