Mr. Marcus J. Wright
Marcus Wright has over 18 years of educational experiences serving in a variety of capacities as a teacher, assistant principal and principal. Mr. Wright began his educational career in the Chicago Public School system where he taught history and Advanced Placement courses to high school students. After earning a Master of Arts in Administration and School Supervision he went on to become the assistant principal at Moses Montefiore Academy in Chicago Public Schools. Montefiore was a therapuetic school for grades 5th - 8th. As principal, Mr. Wright led his teams to achieve significant gains in overall growth on normative achievement tests. Mr. Wright, last served as the executive director of curriculum and instruction at the Madison Community Unit School District in Illinois.
