With the Hazelwood East Middle School 8th Grade Center Program, the Hazelwood School District intends to offer students with interests in Broadcasting, Health Sciences, or Information Technology and Coding a program specific to their needs in pursuing a college degree or a career in one of these areas after graduating high school. The East Middle School program is designed to offer students opportunities to pursue a career pathway of interest beginning in their 8th-grade year either under a traditional pathway model or under an accelerated model. The program will offer college credit to students through Advanced Placement, dual credit, and/or dual enrollment courses. Transportation options are available for Hazelwood School District students who do not reside in the Hazelwood East Middle School 8th Grade Center attendance area.
