8TH GRADE CENTER PROGRAM

With the Hazelwood East Middle School 8th Grade Center Program, the Hazelwood School District intends to offer students with interests in Broadcasting, Health Sciences, or Information Technology and Coding a program specific to their needs in pursuing a college degree or a career in one of these areas after graduating high school. The East Middle School program is designed to offer students opportunities to pursue a career pathway of interest beginning in their 8th-grade year either under a traditional pathway model or under an accelerated model. The program will offer college credit to students through Advanced Placement, dual credit, and/or dual enrollment courses. Transportation options are available for Hazelwood School District students who do not reside in the Hazelwood East Middle School 8^th Grade Center attendance area.
