Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Jessica Strong

This is my 14th year as an educator. I have taught almost every grade in some capacity as an elementary school teacher, math interventionist, Spanish teacher, or secondary mathematics teacher. I have loved teaching everything.

I am the oldest of 3 girls. I am a mom, a bonus mom, a Godmother, and a Gigi. I love to read, bowl, step, cook, dance, pretend I can sing, and eat. My favorite color is purple, I am allergic to ant bites, dust, and nuts. I love strawberries, I dislike chocolate (weird I know), I live off of sweet tea, I don’t drink coffee and I love to travel.

My core values are creativity, excellence, flexibility, relationships, and positivity/fun.

My mission is to serve as a storyteller and catalyst for wondering. I want to be remembered as a person who can “speak kid”. I hope that students, parents, and staff remember me as someone who models, seeks, and celebrates mistakes to encourage the growth of all. I work to joyfully connect children, adults, and data to shift perspectives.

My goal is to build confidence, excitement, and a toolbox of strategies and skills in mathematics and foster a culture and love for learning (especially in math) for our students, staff, and families.
