Hi Grannemann Eagles! My name is Emilie True, I teach 5th grade and this is my 6th year at Grannemann. I’m originally from southern Illinois, I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from McKendree University and am currently working on my Master’s in Student learning and well being from University of Missouri.

I want to be remembered as someone who cares about others, open minded, relaxed, honest, and trustworthy. I hope that my students and their families remember me as a teacher who placed emphasis on building positive relationships and making connections with students and their families. I also hope to be remembered for helping students feel comfortable and confident, especially in the classroom.
