Hello, I’m Sonya Bruns. I teach at Hazelwood’s GALACTIC center. I will be screening/testing students for our program.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Arkansas State University and my Master’s degree from William Woods University. I have a specialist certificate in Gifted Education and have been teaching for over 15 years.

My favorite thing about teaching is helping students find their passion. I hope that my students remember me as an inspiration for their lives.
