This is my 35th year in education and my 29^th year in Hazelwood School District. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing how successful my former students have become. Teaching is a way of life for me and I am always searching for new and different ways to motivate my students to become lifelong learners. I believe that all children should be challenged to learn at their optimal level of ability. All students can learn when provided the appropriate instruction and support. Education is the window of opportunity for students to explore their personal interests and improve their wealth of knowledge.  I enjoy reading, traveling, scrapbooking, and spending time with my two sons and my husband.

My name is Ashlie Warner! I am from Saint Louis, specifically the Saint Ann area. I went to Pattonville School District and graduated in 2015. Then, I went to Maryville University, where I completed my Bachelor’s of Art in Elementary Education 1-6 in December of 2020. I completed my first year of teaching in the 2021-2022 school year in third grade at Eagle College Preparatory in Downtown Saint Louis. 

This is my first year in the Hazelwood School District and my first year teaching second grade! Go Mustangs! Last year I had many firsts too, I had my first daughter in December of 2021. So, in my free time, I love spending time with my daughter and husband. I also enjoy watching movies and spending time outside!

This is my 25th year of teaching. I have had the joy of watching many of my students
grow up to be in high school here in the Hazelwood School District! I love that each
year is filled with new exciting adventures. I have learned so much and love to learn
new ways to enhance my students learning experiences! I have 3 crazy boys at home
that are 17, 17 and 16. The twins are seniors and my youngest a sophomore! I have been
married for 21 years. In my spare time I love reading, going on bike rides, and simply
spending time with my family and friends!

Hello.  My name is Cathie Wiesler and I have had the privilege to work in the Hazelwood School District for 23 years.  I have taught first, second, and third grade.  This is my tenth year teaching at McCurdy Elementary.  I truly enjoy working and learning with our Mustangs.  I have a two year old yellow Labrador Retriever named Molly.  I also have two cats named Teddy and Jack.  

In my free time, I enjoy walking, hiking, and playing fetch with my dog, Molly.  I also enjoy watching her dive for rocks in the Black River where my family owns property.  I am also a St. Louis Cardinals fan and go to games often with my sister, Ann.  I also treasure spending time with my dad (Joe), two sisters (Carolyn and Ann), three nephews (Nickolas, Collin, and Christian),  one niece (Cassandra), and one great niece (Lizzy), and one great nephew (Joey).  Last, but not least, I also enjoy taking care of our two Pekin ducks named Oscar and Mike in our school courtyard.
