I have spent over 20 years as an educator. I have experience from elementary to high school aged students. Prior to joining the CHS admin team, I worked as an Alternative Education Principal, where I tried to change the lives of troubled youth in Madison County, Illinois. As an administrator, I am dedicated to collaboration, mentoring, forming positive relationships, and fostering the climate and culture at CHS. I would like to leave an everlasting impression on all stakeholders as I navigate through this new assignment. 

I served in the United States Navy for nine and half years. I also earned my B.S. in Kinesiology-Teaching, a Master's Degree and Ed.S in Educational Administration/Leadership from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. 

My son is 25 years old and is a graduate of Davenport University in Grand Rapid, Michigan. He graduated in May 2020. His B.A. is in Sports Management. Zach ran 110 and 400 hurdles along with a leg in the 4x4 relay in high school and college. Zach is now a proud member of the work force.
