Mrs. Jami Vault, Ed.S.--12th Grade Assistant Principal

Jami S. Vault, Ed.S. is an assistant principal at Central High School. Over the past 13 years, Mrs. Vault has worked in the Hazelwood School District in several capacities. For 6 years, Mrs. Vault taught English Language Arts at Central High School. In 2015, Mrs. Vault became the district’s first Secondary English Language Arts Curriculum coach where she supported all 6 middle schools and 3 high schools. In 2018, Mrs. Vault became the English Language Arts Curriculum Coordinator where she transformed English Language Arts in the Hazelwood School District by working with teachers to develop instructional frameworks that promoted uniformity across the district. Mrs. Vault also facilitated an increase in reading options for students that provided them with access to books and texts that allowed them to see not only themselves, but also understand and appreciate the culture and lives of others. In addition to bringing equitable learning experiences to the classroom, Mrs. Vault engaged the community with the #HSDReads Summer Reading Program and celebrated the participants with the district's first #HSDReads Summer Reading Fair. 

Mrs. Vault holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Saint Louis University, a Masters in Communications Management from Webster University, and an Educational Specialist degree from Lindenwood University.
