School is more than just a place to learn; it’s a launching pad for your future. We come together to support and encourage one another at Southeast Middle School!

My goal as an educator is to help your child improve their reading and writing skills with an alternative curriculum in hopes to close the gap between grade level standards and where they currently are. I will provide the support, compassion, understanding and commitment to enhance the skills of each individual student.

We will be working on spelling, grammar, comprehension, and writing skills. Students will have an online program to work on enhancing their phonics skills while still learning to improve their writing skills. With the help of each component, and the dedication of your child we can work to improve their confidence in reading, writing, and their attitude towards school.

Hello!

My name is Nicki Ontiberos. I’m an educator with 12 years of experience. I have spent the last 8 years in special education. I am inspired by my grandmother who was a teacher, and my younger brother who has autism. I have three incredible children who keep life exciting and full of surprises. I enjoy coloring, cooking, being outside in nature, and shopping. A girl always needs something, right? LOL.
