Hi Grannemann Eagles! My name is Emilie True, I teach 5th grade and this is my 7th year at Grannemann. I’m originally from Southern Illinois. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from McKendree University and recently completed my Master’s in Student learning and well-being from University of Missouri.

I would like to be remembered as someone who cares about others, values relationships, is open-minded, laid back,  honest, and energetic. I hope that my students and their families remember me as a teacher who placed an emphasis on building positive relationships and making connections with students and their families. Also, I hope to be remembered for helping students feel comfortable and confident, especially within the classroom.
