I hold several degrees and certifications that include a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, a Master of Science in Special Education and a Educational Specialist degree in Educational Administration. I hold certifications in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education and School Leadership. I have been involved in education for 15 years. I worked as a Kindergarten Prep Teacher in a private setting for 6 years at the start of my education career. I have also been a Parent Educator for Parents as Teachers and worked for Special School District as a paraprofessional.  I then served the Hancock Place community for 8 years as a kindergarten and third grade teacher as well as a department chair and gifted sponsor. I am excited to be a part of the Hazelwood School District and leadership team. I look forward to working with the early childhood staff and our Hazelwood families to create a positive learning environment that will lay the educational foundation for our children to build upon throughout their time at Hazelwood and beyond.
