I am thrilled and excited to join the Cold Water Elementary family as Building Principal!  I have spent my entire career in the Hazelwood School District, and I am eager to get started in collaborating and creating a wonderful environment for our Cold Water Bears and their families.  I come to Cold Water as a graduate at Southeast Missouri State with a Bachelors degree in English Education, a Masters Degree from Lindenwood University in School Administration, and a doctorate degree from Maryville University in School Leadership.  Prior to my time at Cold Water, I served as an English Language Arts teacher at Hazelwood Central Middle School from 2009-2017, Instructional Specialist at Twillman Elementary from 2017-2019, and Assistant Principal at North Middle during the 2019-2020 school year.  At home, I live with my wife who is also an educator, our two sons Eli who is seven and Gabe who is three, and our two dogs.  We enjoy being out in nature, traveling, and being fans at our son's sporting events.

My "why" is to create and develop leaders that make our community a better place.  A school is the most important place in every community.  I look forward to creating and developing young leaders with our amazing staff and families at Cold Water Elementary!
