Greetings Cold Water Families,

I'm beyond thrilled to serve as principal at Cold Water Elementary! I began my teaching career at Cold Water 15 years ago and also served as instructional specialist. Cold Water is a very special place to me for many reasons. Cold Water is home and all stakeholders form a very special family. I have a tremendous amount of pride in our incredible school and I will show it on a daily basis. During my time away from Cold Water, I had the opportunity to serve as assistant principal at Jana Elementary and Hazelwood Southeast Middle School. These experiences have helped me develop into the leader I am today. My philosophy is very simple. All students can learn and grow if we meet them where they are. As a father of two (Luke and Ella), it is important for us as educators to treat students as if they are our own children. 

Our motto for the upcoming school year is Showing Paw Pride in Everything We Do. At Cold Water Elementary, we believe in students taking ownership of academics and behavior through character education and equitable systems, in order to develop a sense of belonging. Our goal is for students to take pride in our school and everything they do. We will assist in developing Kind, Responsible, Respectful and Safe learners. Our students will be recognized and rewarded for their daily efforts and will have many opportunities to show their Paw Pride before, during and after the school day at Cold Water.

I look forward to an incredible year. Again, I'm honored to serve the Cold Water community as principal!
