Welcome to Cold Water Elementary School!

My name is Ardella McCain and I'm honored to serve as the Assistant Principal. As a proud graduate of the Hazelwood School District (Go Hawks!), I am deeply committed to fostering a supportive environment for our students and teachers.

Prior to this role, I spent three years serving HSD and the community as the Coordinator for Virtual Programming. This experience has equipped me with unique insights and skills to support our students in various learning environments. Coming from a family of educators, I have always been passionate about education and the vital role it plays to shaping our future.

I am married to a wonderful husband, and have two amazing children, Jayson and Morgan. My family inspires me daily to help others find solutions in everything I do. I have a strong belief that everyone needs an advocate to remove barriers to achievement. I am dedicated to being that advocate for our students.

Together with the talented teachers and staff at Cold Water, I am here to support our students and their families every way that I can. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring atmosphere where all students can grow academically, socially and emotionally. I look forward to partnering with you to make this school year a success.
