Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Ijames
Certifications: I graduated from Missouri Baptist University with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education and I am certified to teach Early Childhood Education as well.
Biography: The 20-21 school year will be my fourth year teaching but my second year in third grade and at Cold Water! I am married and have a son, Oscar and two dogs. Teaching is definitely my passion! I have taught in pre-k, special education and general education classrooms and even daycare settings. My favorite quote is "An investment in knowledge pays the best interest."- Benjamin Franklin. I’m inspired by my students, seeing them fall in love with a concept or idea, their curiosity and excitement over learning becomes contagious. My why for teaching is the magic moment when a student understands what their learning, the laughter and unexpected things that happen daily, the chance to be a role model for young minds and most importantly, getting to light that fire of passion for the imagination and learning.
