This is my 6 th year as a special education teacher at Hazelwood West Middle but my 24th year of teaching. My teaching focus is in the area of Modified Math for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. My teaching career started in Tolono, IL in 2000. I Moved to St. Louis in 2002 to teach the Essential Skills program.

A saying that I live by personally and as a teacher is “Face forward, not backwards.” Meaning don’t let things that have happened in the past get in the way of your future.
