Description: The Hazelwood Success Academy (HSA) is a full day alternative education program designed for high school students in the Hazelwood School District who seek academic, social and personal growth in a small personal learning environment, and/or experiencing difficulty in the traditional school setting.
Requirements: Entry into this program is by application. The Associate Principal and Lead Counselor at each high school are the designated staff for each high school to refer students, 10-12 grades only, to this program. All students must take the TABE test and those designated staff will give the Success Academy application to be filled out and returned. Finally, a family interview and orientation from the HOC staff will take place prior to entry into this program.
Application Process: Applications can be acquired by way of the Associate Principals and Lead Counselors in each high school.
