Hot Spot Exchange
Dear Hazelwood School District Parents/Guardians,
All families that currently have an HSD issued hotspot will need to swap it for a new and improved hotspot this month. Service on all the current HSD hotspots will end on November 1, 2020. With unlimited data, the new hotspots will be able to connect with as many as 15 devices at once and provide faster, stronger connections. Hotspots are only available for families that do not already have internet access.
HSD will host three hotspot swap events. The first event is October 17 from 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at all three HSD high schools. Families of all grade levels can complete swaps at any of the high schools. HSD will also host two hotspot swap events with extended hours at the Hazelwood Opportunity Center on October 19 and 20 from 10:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. To successfully swap a hotspot, families are required to do the following:
- Bring a district supplied hotspot with the charger
- Fill out an index card with their name, driver’s license number, address, and phone number
