West High Principal Dr. Demetrius Adams Receives The Distinguished Faculty Award from Harris-Stowe State University
Congratulations to Dr. Demetrius Adams, Principal at Hazelwood West High School, who was one of the recipients of Harris-Stowe University’s Distinguished Faculty Award.
“The Distinguished Faculty Award is nominated and selected by graduating seniors of the College of Education and presented to a faculty member who demonstrates a commitment to our mission of developing reflective practitioners for a diverse society, who are advocates for children and hold themselves accountable for those whom they serve and the profession,” Dr. Marrix D. Seymore, a professor and the dean of the Harris-Stowe State University’s College of Education, detailed. “Dr. Adams is an adjunct faculty member of our team. He has earned the respect and trust of those students under his tutelage.”
Dr. Adams was recently recognized at the Inaugural School of Educator Pinning Ceremony on the campus of Harris-Stowe.
“I feel honored to receive this award,” Dr. Adams exclaimed. “This means a lot to me, knowing that my hard work is greatly appreciated! I am thrilled to be a part of the School of Education and help our future teachers become the best that they can be!”
Again, HSD wants to congratulate Dr. Adams on this distinct honor; you continue to make us all HSD Proud!
