Faculty and Staff Network Update

Thank you for your patience as we work to safely restore network systems across the district. We can share the following updates regarding the network:

  • SIS and Pulse are functioning and can be used.
  • IFAS is functioning.
  • Equipment: 
    • At this time, *traditional* desktop computers must not be used and the power must be turned completely off.
    • Laptops and Chromebooks may connect to district WiFi/Network and be used by faculty, staff, and students. 
    • Thin clients, *virtual* desktop computers can be used.
    • Please see the image below to differentiate between various types of technology.
  • Scan to email tool on a printer can be used.
  • Promethean boards may be used.
  • The S:\ drive and W:\ drives are now accessible.
  • The STUDATA server is back up and functional for student home directories and apps.
  • Clear touchpads must not be used.
  • All employees can now use the Employee Daily Health Screen, and the HSD Community Health Dashboard is operational.  
  • The message below will appear on all emails you receive from outside the district. It may also appear on emails you receive from select faculty, staff, and
    CAUTION: This email originated from outside your organization. Exercise caution when opening attachments or clicking links, especially from unknown senders - please be sure that the display name matches the email address of a known sender.

If you receive any error messages when using devices connected to district WiFi/Network, turn the device off and contact the help desk. Again, thank you for your patience.
