My name is Mrs. LaPlant and I am a 3rd grade teacher.  This is my 6th year teaching here at Larimore. I've taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade here at Larimore. I earned my Bachelors Degree at the University of Missouri - Columbia (Mizzou).  It's exciting when I discover a new and/or interesting way to engage my students. My favorite subject in school was always math, however, I've recently found a new love for teaching reading. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy hiking, spending time with my baby, Miles, and playing with my two dogs.
