Dr. Chauncey Granger

Dr. Chauncey E. Granger is a native of East St. Louis, Illinois, and has worked in the educational field for over 20 years. He has served in many capacities in large, urban school districts including truancy officer, special education teacher, assistant principal, and adjunct professor at Lindenwood University. He has a bachelor degree in speech communications, a master’s degree in special education, an educational specialist degree as well as a doctoral degree in educational leadership and policy analysis.  Dr. Granger served as an assistant principal at Beaumont High School for five years, East Middle School for one year and Principal at Southeast Middle School for six years. Currently, he serves as the Principal at Hazelwood East High School. Dr. Granger is a recent recipient of the 2018 Salute to Excellence award in education.
