Hello, I'm Lisa Goehri! This year, I'm teaching 7th Grade English. I have taught English Language Arts in both 6th and 7th grades at Hazelwood West Middle. This will be my 6th year teaching at West Middle. I love teaching, helping students learn, and encouraging them to be kind. This year is going to be amazing. We will be reading new and exciting books and learning to perfect our writing.

I grew up in South St. Louis, attended High School in Cuba, Missouri, and lived in Tacoma, Washington, San Antonio, Texas, and NY, NY.  

I am an animal rights advocate and walk dogs at the county shelter. I LOVE dogs! Travel is a fantastic educator, and I loved living in different cities. I dream of traveling to Japan, Ireland, New Zealand, and the rest of the globe.

I look forward to a fantastic school year where people grow, including myself.
