Welcome to an awesome year of experiencing the content of Science in 7th grade! This is my 2nd year as a 7th grade Science Teacher at West Middle School. I am so excited to get to know my new family of students! Middle School students are my ABSOLUTE favorite people in the world….I cannot wait to meet you and get to know your strengths!

My background as an educator is vast; I have served communities as an elementary teacher, a middle school science teacher, a Vice Principal, and an Elementary Principal in the St. Louis County area for about twenty years. For my last few years in education, I returned to the Science Classroom…my first love! I feel honored to serve students and families in public education, and I am thrilled to be a Hazelwood Middle School Wildcat! 

My hobbies include but are not limited to walking, journaling, painting with watercolors, pottery, gardening, playing with my cat, Chloe and enjoying Blues music, friends and family. My children are Matthew and Abigail; they are young adults in their twenties enjoying life! I love serving many roles in life, from being a mom, a friend, a sister, and a daughter.
