Mr. Howe, Room 22
Educational Experiences: This will be my 25th year of teaching here at Lusher. I have taught fifth grade, sixth grade, and this will be my 1st year back in 5th grade in quite some time. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education at St. Louis University, my Master's Degree in Educational Theory and Practice from Arkansas State University, and I hold a Science Specialist Teaching Certificate from Washington University here in St. Louis.

I'm inspired by... the ah ha moments that my students experience throughout the year, when children find their love of reading, and the small, and not so small, moments of kindness that occur each and every day.

Educational Experiences: Hello! This year will be my 2nd year at Lusher and the start of my 7th year of teaching. I have previously taught a range of grade levels and content areas, everywhere from 3rd through 7th grade. I attended college at Truman State University and earned my bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders and my master's degree in Elementary Education.
Previously, I have lived and taught in rural mid-Missouri, but I am happy to be living in my hometown of St. Louis and teaching 5th grade here at Lusher!Favorite Quote: "Be the change you wish to see in the world."

Educational Experiences:
Hello all! I am Ms. Lambkins, one of the fifth grade teachers at Lusher this year! I was born and raised here, in St. Louis, where I attended Webster Groves High School. After graduating from the University of Central Missouri in 2019, with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (1-6), I began my teaching career in the SLPS school district. I spent 2 years teaching fourth grade and 2 years teaching third, pushing students to be the best that they could be!
I have grown to love teaching math, and being a student who struggled with math in my elementary years, I enjoy seeing my students “get it”. I love reading as well. One of my goals this year is to rekindle my love for reading and share it with students, as I haven’t had much of the opportunity to do so in the past.
One of my favorite things to do is watch movies, whether it’s in the theater or on Netflix. Sports also have a special place in my heart. Basketball, football, and track & field are my top three favs (not in any specific order). Topping both movies and sports is my love for food. I will eat just about anything that tastes good!
