Hi, I'm Kathryn Weigel!  I earned my BA in Mathematics and Sociology from George Mason University, a MA in teaching from Relay Graduate School, and then my MSW from Washington University in St. Louis. I came into the field of social work after working as a teacher in New York and seeing the need for student support outside of the classroom. 

This is my second year with Hazelwood Schools, and this year, I am serving at Armstrong and Grannemann Elementary Schools. I love working with students and families of all ages and backgrounds. I enjoy building relationships with students, empowering them, and helping them learn to advocate for themselves and others. I believe there is no health without mental health and that student social-emotional wellbeing is essential for student success.
