Hello classes! My name is Ms. Hash-Boyer and I will be your high school art teacher in Drawing 1 and Painting 1 for the 2022-2023 school year. I am also the sponsor for the HEHS Art Club. Growing up, art was my passion and was always something that I wanted to go into professionally. After high school, I explored many avenues to find what inspired me. My interests included drawing, painting, and photography, which I emphasized in my artworks, but something was missing, and that was my love for working with others. I knew how meaningful art can be to help others who may struggle to find their own voice and that was when I knew what my path was. I then graduated from the University of Missouri - St. Louis in the Spring of 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Art Education, where my goal is to share the gift of creativity and expression with my students through artistic means. I truly believe that any student can be successful in art if they are willing to dig deep and create with their heart. Being an artist is not about having the same skills as those around you but showing your own unique traits. To be able to walk into the classroom with no background knowledge in art and build from there. I want my classroom to be a safe space for students to learn and share.  I look forward to getting to know you all and helping you grow into students  who are confident with your own art styles and who can find your own paths.
