Mrs. Dani Willhite
Greetings! My name is Mrs. Dani Willhite and I am a teacher of the d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing at Hazelwood North Middle School - previously teaching at Hazelwood Central High School. I graduated from Missouri State University with my bachelor's and master's in Education of the d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing and I'm currently working on my doctorate in curriculum development and instruction at Kansas State University. I am certified in birth-12th grade Deaf Education, Special Education (all grades), and K-6 content areas.
I am honored to join the Hazelwood North Middle Panthers to support your child in reaching their highest potential. As an educator and parent, I know how crucial open communication, collaboration, team problem-solving, and appropriate educational planning are for positive student outcomes. I have high expectations for all students and will provide the necessary supports for students to take pride in their learning, reach personal and group goals, and track their own data.
To be most effective for your child, open communication is key. Please email me at dwillhite@ssdmo.org or dwillhite@hazelwoodschools.org and allow me 24 hours to respond. This will be an incredible year and I can't wait to witness student growth, self-efficacy, and independent learners!
Please visit the DHH website for information on Deaf Education.
