Hello!!! My name is Darrien Echols and I was born and raised here in Saint Louis, MO. I graduated from Ladue Horton Watkins High School and went on to graduate with with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Missouri. After obtaining a Master of Education in Adult and Higher Education from UMSL, I was an academic advisor for Columbia College for 5 years. While working as an advisor and finishing a Master of Science in Sport Management at Missouri Baptist University, I decided to finish my certification in middle school mathematics, which I started years ago at the University of Missouri. I started teaching in 2018, teaching 7th grade mathematics, then transitioning to 6th grade mathematics in 2019. I have experience teaching 8th grade mathematics and algebra as well. I love mathematics but I also have a love for reading and music.
