Greetings Scholars and Parents!

Welcome to the 2022-2023 academic year and to 7th Grade Math! 

I am Ms. Kim McCrary, and I have the pleasure of teaching 7th grade math this school year!  I am so excited that the new school year has begun!  I am also thrilled to embark upon this new learning adventure with my students!  

Seventh grade is an important school year for students, as they will be working on a number of learning goals in each subject area that requires mastery.  In addition, students will continue to work on general abilities that are year-long goals.  Finally, students will be held accountable for putting effort into work, even when it is difficult, and participating in class to achieve their goals.

Please be advised that I run a very structured classroom where students are required to take detailed notes, actively participate, think critically, and complete daily coursework.  Students are expected to report to class each day with their Chromebook and charger, a notebook, pencils, and a scientific calculator.  Learning will stem from class discussions, as well as independent work.  Students will be given homework every day.  Please note, I will notify parents when students fail to complete any of their coursework.

Tutoring sessions will be offered starting in September.  These sessions will be held after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:10 - 4:25 p.m.  Students are welcome to attend whenever additional help is needed.  Please note, parents/guardians will sign up online for tutoring.
