I am Jarrett S. Brooks born and raised in Kansas City, MO. I have been apart of the Hazelwood School District since 2018. I am a Social Studies teacher in the district and I am also a football and track coach. As a former student athlete I hold education to the highest esteem and I support our children outside the classroom as well. It takes us as a community to ensure the success of our students. My ultimate goal in education is to cultivate the student as a whole person. Through our mastery of content and consistency our students should build self knowledge, enrichment, and expectations for success. Success for me looks like influencing our students to be active participants in their communities, active parents, graduates, professionals, skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and role models for the future.
