Hello!  My name is Mr. Steven Baker and I am thrilled to join the staff as the assistant principal at Russell Elementary!  This is my 17th year in the Hazelwood School District and I have previously taught vocal music at Keeven Elementary, Central Middle, and West Middle schools.  

 

I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Music Education from Olivet Nazarene University in 2004 and received my master's of arts in School Administration from Lindenwood University in 2014.  

 

I look forward to working with the students, families, and staff at Russell to support a learning environment that is inclusive, supportive, challenging, and fun!
