Hi

My name is Mrs. Curtis.  I am a 4th-5th grade Special Education Teacher.   I am delighted to have your child in my class this year.  I believe each child does his or her best when their family and the teacher work closely together.  This is my 27th year in the classroom and my 12th year at Larimore.  I have a Bachelor's degree from Harris-Stowe State University and I have a Master's Degree from Fontbonne University.  I think a teacher should have a positive, inspiring impact on children's lives. To achieve this, he/she should be  kind, caring, empathic, passionate and funny. These are  qualities that I think I possess as a teacher and a person and I hope I can be just that for your child.  In my spare time, I like to spend time with my husband, 2 children, and my dog (Mumble).
