Welcome! My name is Ms. Janicik (Jan - eh - sick).

This is my 8th year teaching High School Mathematics. I spent a majority of my teaching career in SLPS at Soldan International Studies High School  & Gateway STEM High School. I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Honors Algebra 1, Geometry, Advanced Algebra, and Math Theories.

I earned my BSED in Mathematics Education from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. I graduated with honors and was a member of the Kappa Mu Epsilon Mathematics Honor Society. Because of the dual-enrollment and AP courses I took in high school, I was able to graduate college in 3 years (instead of the traditional 4). 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my son Malachi and our dog Jill.
