Mrs. Julie Crossley
My name is Julie Crossley, and I teach Special Education at Hazelwood East High School. I have taught at East High since 2011, and I truly enjoy my students. I am the Work Experience Coordinator for Hazelwood students receiving services through SSD. I also enjoy serving as the Special Olympics Coach for East High.
Previously I taught Elementary Special Education and worked with adults with disabilities. I attended Fontbonne University where I earned a degree in Special Education K-12 and Elementary Education 1-6. I earned a Masters Degree from Lindenwood University in Education and School Administration. I consider myself a life-long learner and look forward to completing my next degree. I hope to inspire my students to also pursue learning and growing after high school. I believe that life is a journey full of learning adventures.
Outside of school, I am a wife and mother of four teenagers in high school and college. I enjoy reading, music, art - painting, and crafts, camping and travel with our dog. I love water and enjoy spending time at the beach or water park in the summer.
I look forward to serving the students at HEHS again this school year.
