Mr. Swingler has been teaching with the Hazelwood School District for the past 19 years.  He has been awarded the Hazelwood East High School Teacher of the Year Award, as well as, the Hazelwood School District Teacher of the Year Award.  The choral students have sung on the National and Missouri State level.  The choral students consistently participate in District and State Solo and Ensemble on a yearly basis.
