I'm thrilled to have an opportunity to teach fifth grade at Larimore Elementary!  I've been in education for over 20 years.  I have a B.S in Elementary Education and a Masters in Educational Administration. My goal is to help your child grow academically and socially.  I will continue to inspire, unite, and lead this virual journey of excellence for all!  It is with great pleasure to be apart of the Hazelwood School District, and I am eager to work with you and your child for the 2020-2021 school year!

Dear Larimore Parents/Guardians:

The events we are finding our country in is a bit uncomfortable. Meanwhile, I just want to give you updates to alleviate some of the stress and anxiety you may feel about your child’s learning, and assure you that I am available to help you through this time of uncertainty.  

Chromebooks were sent home on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. As we return for the upcoming session, please pick up your child's materials on the distribution days provided by administration.  The last day for distrubution is set for Friday, August 21, 2020. Chromebooks will serve as our platform until further notice. It is very important to inform me if you have interent access or not.

If you have any questions or concerns I am available through email for parents/guardians only at (lwhitley@hazelwoodschools.org) during normal school hours. I will do my best to answer any questions/concerns you may have. Meanwhile, If I do not know the answer, I will make sure I put you in touch with someone that can and will help.

Students are to communicate with me through Google Classroom.
