Hello Parents and Students!

Welcome to the beginning of 6^th grade at Hazelwood North Middle!  I am thrilled to lead your child through an exciting year of learning and growing in English Language Arts!  

My name is Ms. Precious Mitchell and I’ve enjoyed teaching and working with children the past 10 years. I received my education through the Hazelwood School District, and I am a proud graduate from Hazelwood East! I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Education with minors in Social Studies and English, as well as a Dual- Master’s Degree in Counseling from Missouri Baptist University.  In my spare time, I also enjoy reading, traveling, movies, and having fun.

          Sixth grade is a huge, yet awesome transitioning grade for students both mentally and academically. I am here for your child to help them succeed and become lifelong learners. It is my goal to ensure that each and every one of my students reache his/her highest potential this year.

I truly enjoy helping students learn and grow, and I know that with your help, we can make this a wonderful year!
