Reopening with Resilience: Cold Water School Welcomes Students Back

Reopening with Resilience: Cold Water School Welcomes Students Back
Cold Water First Day 1

Cold Water Elementary School officially opened its doors to students and staff on Monday, one week later than originally scheduled, after a brief but necessary delay due to the discovery of mold in an area of the building. The delay allowed for comprehensive safety protocols and remediation efforts to ensure the health and well-being of everyone returning, prioritizing safety above all else.

During the weeklong closure, Cold Water teachers temporarily relocated to the district administration building, where the central office staff provided strong support, helping educators settle in and continue their work in a new environment. Instruction didn’t skip a beat, as students transitioned to virtual learning during the closure, staying engaged and connected with their teachers.
